National Disability Awards 2011 (International Day of Disability)
Following our successful three year partnership with City of Mandurah, a nomination was submitted to the National Awards to recognize the positive employment opportunities and work diversity for people with disabilities within the contracts.
We were pleased to hear that City of Mandurah were announced as Award finalists for 2011.
Twenty-one outstanding finalists have been shortlisted for the upcoming 2011 National Disability Awards in recognition of their contributions to the disability sector.
The 21 finalists were selected from more than 200 nominations. Among them are advocates, property developers, builders, educators, business people and for the first time, health and wellbeing providers who have created equal access for people with disability.
We wish them well in the Awards.
